Get Started in Four Simple Steps

Steps 1–4: create the account and set up the school.

  • Step 1: Create an account

    From the PromCheck sign-in page, select:

    Don’t have an account? Create one

  • Step 2: Enter your information

    Choose Student, then enter:

    1. Full name
    2. Email address
    3. Password
    4. Country
    5. State or province
    6. High school

    Then select Sign Up.

  • Step 3: Add your school if it is not listed

    If you cannot find your high school, select:

    My school is not listed

  • Step 4: Submit your school information

    Enter:

    1. School name
    2. Country
    3. Region, state, or province

    Then complete the sign-up process.

Steps 5–9:

  • Step 5: Explore Your School Registry

    Check registered styles while shopping in-store or online.

  • Step 6: Save Styles to Your Wishlist

    Keep track of dresses you are considering before purchasing.

  • Step 7: Register Your Dress After Purchase

    Register your dress as soon as your purchase is complete.

    You can upload a photo of the actual dress and remain anonymous in the public registry if you want to keep your prom-night look a surprise.

  • Step 8: Review Conflict Alerts

    PromCheck alerts you when the same style has already been registered in the same color or in a different color.

    Conflict notices also appear in My Registry.

  • Step 9: Manage Your Prom Journey

    Return anytime to review your registry and wishlist, explore your school’s gallery and trends, and update what happened to your dress after prom.
